Taco is currently led by John Hazen White, Jr., whose grandfather founded the company. To this day, John goes to work in the building where his products are made - a rarity in American manufacturing.

Taco “00"® Cartridge Circulators are rugged, versatile, quick and easy to install. With their self-lubricating design and no mechanical seal, they provide unmatched reliability that makes them maintenance free. Every Taco “00”® circulator features a field-replaceable cartridge that contains all the moving parts. Replacing the cartridge rebuilds the circulator. Field service could not be faster or simpler to perform.

Taco “00”® IFC Cartridge Circulators feature an Integral Flow Check (IFC) that eliminates the additional installation costs that go along with separate in-line flow checks, improves system performance and further reduces maintenance.

Taco “00”® Cartridge Circulators deliver excellent service at fluid temperatures from 40° F (4° C) to 240° F (115° C) and up to 125 PSI maximum working pressure. State of the art performance for hydronic, radiant heat and snowmelt applications. The Taco Bumble Bee® is a wet rotor, variable speed "smart" circulator. The Bumble Bee delivers the ultimate 1-2 punch of electrical savings and system efficiency (fuel usage) cost savings. The unique ECM motor design saves over 50% of the electrical energy compared to conventional fixed speed and 3-speed circulators. When operated in the Delta-T mode it greatly increases the overall efficiency of the boiler so less fuel is used, which equals money saved. The Bumble Bee also increases whole house comfort by continuously adjusting its speed to delivering the right amount of BTU's (heat) at the right time to the right place in the system.

The Taco Zone Sentry® Zone Valve enhances the overall performance of any zone valve system. The unique patented technology in the Zone Sentry® utilizes a microcircuit based logic to control a gear driven electronic actuator which drives a ball valve based body design. The high efficiency Taco 4900 Series Air Separator uses patented PALL ring technology to clear the system of microbubbles, sand, dirt and rust to save money, energy and component wear. PALL rings are used in the processing industry to mix gases with, or separate gases from, liquids. By applying PALL ring technology to hydronic air and dirt separation,  the 4900 Series will:

  • Remove microbubbles as small as 18 x 10 –6 meters from the system
  • Remove air that has dissolved in the system water
  • Remove air from places where an air vent can’t be installed
  • Remove and separate solid particles from flow
