Hot Water Loss Reduction – Insulating your hot water pipes is beneficial for a variety of reasons.  Primarily, the water in insulated pipes can be as much as 2-4 degrees warmer than a non-insulated pipe meaning you don’t have to use as much hot water in the shower.  This reduced hot water usage relieves the demand for hot water on your tank using less energy and lowering your gas or electric bill.
